Gary Numan. Electronic music pioneer, his 1979 Top of the Pops performance was equally legendary and influential, like an alien being beamed down from another planet. To this day – for me – ‘Cars’ is one of the best pop songs ever written. Gary proceeded to tear the roof of the building, mixing his more recent industrial-techo-goth in with his synth pop heyday genre defining classics. Great to be back in the photo pit again.
