I remember seeing Charlotte way back in the early 90s in the excellent – although typically dark and quirky –  film Cement Garden (from Ian McEwan’s novel). As the daughter of Serge Gainsbourg and Jane Birkin, she’s definitely got some quirky indie model / film star lineage. Excellent indie French pop at the art deco El Rey Theatre in DTLA.
